Brian Walser is the founder of WalserSolutionsGroup, an independent energy and sustainability advisory practice based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With more than 30 years of experience, he has worked across nearly every segment of the commercial and industrial energy value chain.
He began his career as a utility rebate program administrator and field energy auditor before spending 12 years at Siemens — first as an energy engineer in the Performance Contracting business, then building early real-time-pricing and meter-data systems, and later in national operations and product management roles launching energy procurement, utility bill management, and remote building monitoring services.
He went on to serve nine years as SVP and Head of Global Energy & Sustainability at Bank of America, managing roughly $350M in annual utility spend across data center, retail, and office portfolios, delivering more than $300M in cumulative savings at greater than 30% MIRR, and reducing GHG emissions by more than 35%. He later consulted at Accenture, advising clients with more than $2B in aggregate utility operating spend.
Today, Brian advises organizations on product strategy, market development, corporate energy management, and sustainability initiatives — bringing objective, experience-backed guidance free from vendor bias.
